SVIV Aims to Expand Business Opportunities for Singaporean SMEs in Vietnam

On November 21, a significant meeting took place between Nguyen Duc Hung, the Vice Chairman and General Secretary of the Vietnam-Singapore Friendship Association (VSFA), and Joe Tan, the Executive Vice President of Sing-Viet Impact Ventures (SVIV), in Hanoi.

SVIV Hopes to Bring more Singaporean SMEs to Vietnam to Connect with Partners

During the meeting, Joe Tan emphasized that SVIV is an organization that connects small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Vietnam and Singapore. It supports businesses in exploring each other’s markets and aims to create business projects with a sustainable impact on society in both countries.

In 2022, SVIV brought a Singaporean business delegation to visit and work with Vietnamese partners in Hanoi, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City. These activities have contributed to strengthening understanding and cooperation between the two sides. SVIV hopes to receive support from the Vietnam – Singapore Friendship Association to connect with Vietnamese partners and organize Singaporean business delegations to Vietnam.

Nguyen Duc Hung, Vice Chairman – General Secretary of the Vietnam – Singapore Friendship Association, appreciated SVIV’s recent activities. The Vice Chairman of the VSFA emphasized that the association is willing to act as a bridge to support SVIV in working with localities and seeking cooperation opportunities between Vietnamese and Singaporean SMEs, thereby promoting friendly relations between the two countries.
