Visitors to the festival will be pleased with a variety of exciting contests and activities. These include a shrimp-drawing contest, a fishery guessing game, and a program where sea creatures are made with coconut leaves. Tran Hieu Hung, the director of the Ca Mau Province Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, stated that the festival plans to invite 42 provinces and cities from across the country to exhibit their main products. The event will feature cultural spaces, miniatures of seafood, music shows, and art performances to entertain visitors.
With an expected attendance of 10,000 participants, the festival aims to boost the shrimp industry, attract more visitors, and entice domestic and international investors. Ca Mau, known for its shrimp farming, leads Vietnam in shrimp farming area and annual shrimp output.
