The Carnaby Walking Street in Hanoi draws inspiration from the famous pedestrian street in London. Known for its always-lit shopping windows and unique street architecture, Carnaby Walking Street attracts over 44 million visitors each year, according to statistics from the Telegraph.

Bearing a bold European style, the “Carnaby 214” walking street in Thanh Xuan district, Hanoi has quickly become a popular destination for young people since its inauguration in early September 2023. Spanning 250m, the street features old-fashioned buildings, eateries, and iconic red public telephone booths reminiscent of England.

The highlight of Carnaby 214 walking street is a 7m-high colorful rabbit located at its center. Visitors, like My Linh, travel long distances to experience the “European” atmosphere right in Hanoi. Every street corner is carefully decorated to create an authentic European scene.

As evening approaches, more and more tourists flock to the Carnaby Walking Street. The bright lighting system gives the place a European country-like ambiance. With nearly 20 food stalls scattered around, children can freely play and enjoy delicious meals.

Situated in the heart of Ha Dinh’s new urban area, Carnaby Walking Street is surrounded by a vibrant residential community consisting of 72 existing villas and numerous high-rise apartments. It is also adjacent to four schools at all levels. The street is open to the public every Saturday and Sunday from 4:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
