During a meeting at the FIFA Women’s Football Convention in Sydney, Australia on Friday, Kenny Jean-Marie, FIFA’s director of member associations, made a statement to VFF president Tran Quoc Tuan.
“The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) is proud to offer two state-of-the-art VAR vehicles to cater to national and international football matches held in Vietnam. These cutting-edge vehicles are equipped with the latest technology to ensure fair and accurate decision-making.”
Marie announced that the Vietnamese Football Federation (VFF) has received accolades from FIFA for its significant investment in the Vietnamese women’s football team. As a result, the team has successfully qualified for the prestigious 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
FIFA maintains its commitment to assist in the advancement of women’s football in Vietnam, in pursuit of securing a place in the upcoming Women’s World Cup.

During the football convention, Tuan engaged in discussions with prominent figures in the football industry, including Pascale Van Damme, president of the Royal Belgian Football Association, Just Spee, president of the Royal Netherlands Football, and Heike Ullrich, secretary general of the German Football Association. These productive talks were held on Friday, coinciding with the final day of the convention.
The three leaders expressed their congratulations to Vietnam for its outstanding advancements in the field of football in recent years.
The Vietnamese football team’s performances at the FIFA Women’s World Cup have greatly impressed spectators with the exceptional display of determination and commitment shown by each player in every match.
