Vietnam’s circus artists Hien Phuoc and Thanh Hoa have achieved a remarkable feat, winning a gold medal at the International Circus Festival in Almaty City, Kazakhstan. Their unique circus act titled “Khoanh Khac Tinh Yeu” (Moment of Love) left a lasting impression on over 2,000 international spectators in attendance.
The performance was highly praised by Director of Phuong Nam Art Theater, Le Dien. A photo of the act can be seen below:

The festival brought together 100 talented circus artists from various countries such as Kazakhstan, Germany, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Ethiopia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, the UK, the Czech Republic, Tajikistan, and Lithuania.
The Vietnamese delegation participated in the festival with two units, the Vietnam Circus Federation and the Southern Art Theater of Ho Chi Minh City. The Vietnamese acts were “The Sword Emperor on a Silk String” performed by artist Khanh Huyen and “Moment of Love” double swing performed by Hien Phuoc and Thanh Hoa.

The award helps to recognize the talent and position of Vietnamese circus art on the international stage, while also motivating domestic circus artists to further develop their art. |
At the festival, three gold medals were awarded: one to Vietnam for the act performed by Hien Phuoc and Thanh Hoa, one to Russia for bounce, and one to Yakutiya for juggling. This is the first prestigious gold medal for Hien Phuoc and Thanh Hoa in an international competition.
