Audiences in Da Nang Mesmerized by Glittering Fireworks Displays
On Friday night, the beautiful night sky over the Han River in Danang, Vietnam was illuminated with a spectacular display of fireworks and music, as the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2023 officially commenced.

The festival began with performances from Vietnamese and Finnish teams.
Le Trung Chinh, Chairman of the Da Nang People’s Committee, stated that the success of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) in recent years has demonstrated its appeal to both the local population and international visitors alike.
This year’s festival, themed “The World Without Distance”, is expected to act as a bridge connecting people and eliminating all obstacles, especially after a three-year hiatus caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, according to Chinh.

The host Vietnam put on a 20-minute performance with the theme “Da Nang – The Sound of Peace”. Through a combination of light and sound, stories were told, including one about how Da Nang is recovering post pandemic. The performance conveyed a message of peace, stability, and happiness.
Tran Van Hung, head of the technical group of the Vietnamese team, reported that the performance by the host deployed nearly 4,500 fireworks of various varieties and more than 128 unique color effects, accompanied by music.

The Finnish team, Joho Pyro Professional Fireworks, took the stage with the theme “Ignite the Heart”, and wowed the audience with their perfect combination of music and fireworks.
Johan Hollander, the Finnish team leader, said his team wanted to bring a dynamic and emotional performance to DIFF 2023, which would culminate in a plea for unity and a celebration of life.
The DIFF 2023, scheduled to take place from June 2 to July 8 along the Han River, will gather eight teams from around the world, including Danang-Vietnam, the UK, Italy, Poland, France, Australia, Canada, and Finland.
