With these creative forms of entertainment, puppeteers can bring to life amazing stories and entertain audiences of all ages. Whether it’s a story about a brave knight or a mischievous fox, puppeteers can use their skills to make the stories come alive with their puppets. Puppeteers can also use their puppets to impart important lessons, educate viewers, and bring a bit of joy and laughter to those who watch. Regardless of the type of puppet performance, the art of puppetry is a powerful tool for storytelling.
The event provides a platform for water puppet troupes to share their expertise in traditional art performances, while also aiding in the propagation of this art form to international audiences during the upcoming holiday season.
The event will mark the commencement of the summer tourism season, as well as commemorate National Reunification Day on April 30th, International Labour Day on May 1st, Hai Phong Liberation Day on May 13th, and the 2023 Hai Phong Hoa Phuong Do (Flamboyant Red) Festival.
