Thao in her role as CEO and president of VietJet Air was also named among the Top 50 global leaders in 2018 by Bloomberg. As of March 7, 2021, the Vietnamese businesswoman reportedly had total assets amounting to US$2.8 billion.

Mai Kieu Lien, chairperson and CEO of Vietnam Dairy Products Jsc (Vinamilk), was featured in Asia’s Power Businesswomen list in 2015 published by Forbes. She is the only Vietnamese person to be presented with the Forbes Vietnam Lifetime Achievement Award. After taking the helm of Vinamilk for more than three decades, Lien has built and developed the country’s largest dairy business and increased its brand value globally.
