Painting featuring doctors’ perseverance appreciated

Recently, the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum has introduced a painting portraying Labor hero, doctor Pham Ngoc Thach, who has much devotion to the nation’s healthcare as a way to pay tribute to doctors and medical workers across the country who are working day and night to save life for people.


The silk painting by artist Tran Dong Luong was created in 1958.

The painting recreates the scene of Dr. Pham Ngoc Thach, wearing a white blouse, with a gentle face and a warm smile graciously examining patients. Around the doctor are medical workers supporting him.

The picture praised the perseverance and wholeheartedness of Dr. Pham Ngoc Thach and his colleagues in particular and other doctors across the nation as a whole./.
