During the first half, it is worth mentioning the unfortunate incident involving Pham Trung Hieu and Trieu Viet Hung, who had to leave the field in an ambulance as a result of injuries.

In the 61st minute, Vietnam took the lead when Hoang Duc expertly played a through ball to Cong Phuong. Phuong then skillfully evaded Palestine’s goalkeeper, Rami Hamada, and calmly put the ball into the net, giving Vietnam a 1-0 advantage.

Vietnam’s initial disappointment quickly turned into joy when, in the 78th minute, Nguyen Van Toan expertly infiltrated the opposition’s penalty area and neatly set up Tuan Hai to score a goal into the open net. This goal extended Vietnam’s lead to 2-0.
