The fourth set was fiercely contested as both teams exchanged attacks and scored points.
In an impressive display of skill and determination, Vietnam secured a thrilling victory with a final score of 24-22. Spearheading their team’s success was the exceptional performance of outside hitter Tran Tu Linh, whose aggressive attacking played a crucial role in the win.

For the first time in history, the Vietnamese women’s volleyball team has attained a position in the top 4 at an Asian Games.
The upcoming match on Thursday afternoon will serve as a determining factor in Group E, as it pits China against South Korea. China, displaying their dominance, effortlessly shut out South Korea 3-0 in a previous encounter. This contest will pose a challenge for South Korea as they aim to overcome China’s formidable team.
Vietnam’s participation in the 19th Asian Games was represented by a 504-member delegation, consisting of 320 athletes. This prestigious sporting event showcased 481 events across 40 different sports.
Their goal was to secure at least two gold medals.
As of Thursday at 12:00 pm, the country obtained a ranking of 19th place in the standings, earning a total of two gold medals, three silver medals, and 14 bronze medals.
The current leader of the medal table is China, having clinched a remarkable 174 gold medals, 95 silver medals, and 52 bronze medals. Following closely behind is South Korea, who has secured 37 gold medals, 51 silver medals, and 59 bronze medals. Japan, on the other hand, has earned 33 gold medals, 45 silver medals, and 71 bronze medals.
