The VPBank Can Tho Music Night Run 2024 will take place on April 13, organized by Can Tho’s Culture, Sports, and Tourism Department, VPBank, and professional race organizer Nexus Sport Events.

This year, the event will be transformed into a sports-music festival, combining running, singing, dancing, and music, along with various other activities.

Throughout the race route, there will be water stations that double as street music stages, where bands will perform continuously.

At the finish line, the main stage will feature performances by renowned singers and bands.

In addition to the race, there will also be food stalls and spaces showcasing local culture, highlighting the beauty of Can Tho City, known for its landmarks like Ninh Kieu Wharf and Cai Rang floating market.

The race is expected to attract up to 5,000 participants across the three main categories: 5km, 10km, and 21km. There will also be a 1.1km route for children.

In the future, the organizers plan to introduce a full marathon category to attract elite runners from Vietnam and beyond.

The goal is to establish the annual run as a prominent event on Can Tho’s tourism calendar, attracting both tourists and businesses for years to come.
