The marathon will feature an elite field of athletes, including renowned runners such as Shadrack Kipkemboi from Kenya, Issel Kawabata from Japan, and Otmane Menbar from Morocco. They will be joined by Vietnam’s very own top athletes, Pham Ngoc Phan, Huynh Anh Khoi, Le Tan Hi, Le Minh Tuan, and Pham Thi Binh, who are sure to give a strong showing on their home turf.

The 21km half marathon will also be a highlight, with Kenyan Eric Kiplimo Mosbei, England’s James Drakeford, and Malaysia’s Vimal Govendarajoo going head-to-head with Vietnam’s talented runners, Doan Thi Oanh, Nguyen Khanh Ly, and Thai Thi Kim Ngan.
