Located on Tran Quoc Nghien Street – the route with the most beautiful view in the province, together with the Museum – Library and the 30/10 Square, Dolphin Palace creates an impressive architectural space, attracting the attention of any visitor who crosses here.
Designed by Salvador Perez Arroyo Design, it is not officially named the Dolphin Palace. The reason for the name is because the construction looks like the image of dolphins playing by the Ha Long Bay according to the local people’s imagination.
This project was built in February 2015, impressively with a capital of up to VND 1,000 billion (US $43 million). In October 2016, the dolphin palace officially came into operation and welcomed visitors.
The dolphin palace is designed with a modern projection system, making it the perfect venue for large-scale music shows and events.
With a large space, many exciting activities, massive and novel design, promises to be the ideal destination for visitors to explore.

Taking care of the Palace is a work of art. As you can imagine, with the road on one side and the bay on the other, the outer building has collected layers of dust, also other things that need maintenance.
As part of the preparation for the 31st SEA Games, Quang Ninh province has professional ‘building bathers’ to clean and whiten the outer structure of the Dolphin Palace.
According to the “dolphin bathers,” the coastal climate makes it necessary to use specialized cleaning chemicals to clean the surface. Besides manual cleaning, they use a washing nozzle with strong force combined with water has been mixed with specialized detergent to easily remove stains on the surface of the “dolphin”.
