Vinh Long showcases 12 investment opportunities for Indian enterprises

On March 5, the Vinh Long province's People's Committee partnered with the Indian Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City to enhance collaboration between Indian enterprises and Vinh Long.

During the meeting, Madan Mohan Sethi – Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City, attended along with representatives from the Business Association and Indian businesses.

The conference consisted of a plenary session and 2 discussion sessions covering topics such as trade and investment, education – tourism – information technology, and health.

Delegates visited the display and exhibition booths.

At the conference, Vinh Long province introduced 12 projects to Indian businesses, with a total investment capital of over 13,700 billion VND, inviting investment capital from sources outside the state budget. In addition to its strength in agriculture, Vinh Long province invites Indian businesses to focus on trade – investment, education – tourism – information technology, and health. Vinh Long province’s leaders commit to always accompany and fulfill their responsibilities towards investors, as well as resolve difficulties during the implementation of local investment projects.

Madan Mohan Sethi – Indian Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City – believes that this cooperation will create favorable conditions for the development of important industries and fields in Vinh Long province. Alongside the conference, the Organizing Committee arranged display and exhibition areas for showcasing typical products, startups, OCOP products, and local exports.

During this occasion, the two sides signed cooperation agreements in various fields. They expect that after the event, many agreements will be reached to foster collaboration between businesses on both sides, further boosting import-export turnover and contributing to mutual benefits.
