Director-General of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism Nguyen Trung Khanh highly spoke of Google’s activities to promote Vietnamese tourism. “The “Wonders of Vietnam” project is expected to give international visitors new perspectives about Vietnamese tourism. I believe that it will continue helping Vietnamese destinations shine, especially in the context of travel restriction caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, Tienphong reported.

United States Ambassador to Vietnam Daniel Kritenbrink gave special praise to the country and people of Vietnam. He said that he and his family have traveled to Da Nang, Hue, and Hoi An as well as other Vietnamese destinations many times. He expressed his belief that 35 exhibitions featuring 1,369 beautiful photos will bring various perspectives about Vietnam.
On the online platform, visitors can admire the beauty of Son Doong cave, Hoi An Lantern Festival, Hue royal court music as well as interactive features that allow you to experience the wonders of Vietnam in a new way.

“In the context of the tourism industry in the world and in Vietnam being hard-hit by the pandemic, it is important for Vietnam’s Wonders to be accessible to the world”, Amit Sood, Senior Director of Google Arts & Culture said.
Google Country Director for Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia Tram Nguyen said that the online exhibition gives viewers opportunities to immerse themselves in traditional music and tourist sites of Vietnam through panoramic photos. The project is an important part of Google’s comprehensive support for Vietnam’s tourism sector.
