The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting reports that cold air is affecting various areas in the North Central and Northwest regions, along with other regions. Inland areas are experiencing a gradual strengthening of the northeast winds to level 3, while coastal areas are facing winds of level 4-5.

In the Northeast region, including Hoa Binh, Lao Cai, and Yen Bai, the weather remains very cold, particularly in the mountainous areas. These cold conditions are expected to persist until the weekend.

During this cold wave, the temperatures commonly reach lows of 10-13 degrees in the Northeast region, and even drop below 5 degrees in some high mountain areas. In the North Central region, the temperatures range from 13-16 degrees.

The North and North Central regions are also experiencing light rain.

Northwest region: The weather forecast predicts cloudy and rainy conditions, which can adversely affect people’s health. The lowest temperatures range from 12-15 degrees, and in some places, they even drop below 12 degrees. The highest temperatures range from 16-19 degrees, with some places even exceeding 27 degrees.

Northeast region: The weather forecast indicates cloudy and rainy conditions in some places, with showers in the afternoon and evening. Extremely cold temperatures are being experienced in the mountainous areas. The lowest temperatures range from 11-13 degrees, and in high mountainous areas, there are places where the temperatures drop below 5 degrees. The highest temperatures range from 13-16 degrees.

Thanh Hoa – Thua Thien Hue: The weather will be cloudy in the morning with light rain, and there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places. The lowest temperatures in the North are expected to range from 14-16 degrees, while in the South, temperatures will range from 17-20 degrees. The highest temperatures in the North are expected to range from 16-19 degrees, and in the South, temperatures will range from 20-23 degrees.

Da Nang – Binh Thuan: The weather will be cloudy with scattered showers throughout the region, and fog in the early morning. The lowest temperatures range from 21-24 degrees, and in some places, they drop below 21 degrees. The highest temperatures range from 28-31 degrees, with some places exceeding 31 degrees in the South.

The Southern region: The weather forecast predicts cloudy conditions with scattered showers throughout the region, and sunny weather in the afternoon. The lowest temperatures range from 24-27 degrees, while the highest temperatures range from 31-34 degrees. In some places, temperatures even exceed 36 degrees.

The Central Highlands: The weather forecast predicts cloudy conditions with scattered showers in the evening and night, and sunny weather in the afternoon. The lowest temperatures range from 18-21 degrees, while the highest temperatures range from 29-32 degrees. In some places, temperatures even exceed 32 degrees.

Ho Chi Minh City: According to the National Center for Hydrometeorological Forecasting, the weather in the Ho Chi Minh City area will remain extremely hot from morning to afternoon, with the highest temperatures reaching 37 degrees. The temperatures fluctuate between 35-37 degrees, which is unchanged from the previous day. The relative humidity ranges from 40-52%, and the cloud density ranges from 87-93%.

Da Nang: According to the National Center for Hydrometeorological Forecasting, the weather in the Da Nang area is experiencing cold air, resulting in rainy and cold weather. The temperatures range from 27-28 degrees, which is 2 degrees lower than the previous day. The relative humidity ranges from 71-73%, and the cloud density ranges from 27-57%.
