According to the National Center for Hydrometeorological Forecasting, cold air affects the northern mountainous areas and the Northeast and spreads to other regions. Until tonight, cold winds continue to expand the area affecting the North Central region, the Northwest, and some places in the Central region.

This afternoon and night, there will also be rain in the North Central region. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail, strong winds, flash floods on small rivers and streams, and landslides on slopes.

The weather forecast in different regions

Northwest region: The weather will have moderate to heavy rain, with scattered thunderstorms locally. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong winds. It is also cold at night. The lowest temperature is 20-23 degrees, with some places below 19 degrees. The highest temperature is 25-28 degrees, with some places above 28 degrees.

Northeast region: Cloudy, with scattered showers and thunderstorms, especially in the mountainous and midland areas. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong winds. Lowest temperature: 20-23 degrees. Highest temperature: 25-28 degrees.

Thanh Hoa – Thua Thien Hue: The North is cloudy, with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and night, and the South has showers and thunderstorms in some places during the day. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong winds. The temperature drops at night. Lowest temperature: 21-24 degrees. Highest temperature: 29-32 degrees.

Da Nang – Binh Thuan: Cloudy, with showers and thunderstorms in some places during the day. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, and strong winds. Lowest temperature: 23-26 degrees. Highest temperature: 30-33 degrees.

The Central Highlands: Cloudy and sunny during the day, with showers and thunderstorms in some places in the evening and at night. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, and strong winds. Lowest temperature: 19-22 degrees. Highest temperature: 29-32 degrees.

Southern region: Cloudy and sunny during the day, with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, and strong winds.

Hanoi: Cloudy, with scattered thunderstorms and showers locally. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, and strong winds. The weather will be cold at night. Lowest temperature: 21-23 degrees. Highest temperature: 25-28 degrees.

Ho Chi Minh City: According to the National Center for Hydrometeorological Forecasting, the weather in the Ho Chi Minh City area will be rainy in some places in the afternoon and at night. The temperature fluctuates between 33 – 34 degrees, a slight increase of 1 degree compared to the previous day.

Da Nang: According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the weather in the Da Nang area will be cloudy and rainy, with scattered showers and thunderstorms locally. The temperature fluctuates between 29 – 31 degrees, down 2 degrees compared to the previous day.
