According to the National Center for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting, on August 21, there will be moderate to heavy rain and thunderstorms in the North and North Central regions of Vietnam. From August 22, heavy rain will decrease rapidly in these regions.

The Central Highlands and the South will continue to experience thunderstorms for the next several days. These thunderstorms may bring tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind. There is also a risk of flash floods, landslides in mountainous provinces, and inundation in low-lying areas.

Expect cloudy weather with moderate to heavy rain in some places. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind. The lowest temperature will be between 22-25 degrees, with some places dropping below 22 degrees. The highest temperature will range from 28-31 degrees.

The Northeast

Cloudy weather with moderate to heavy rain, including thunderstorms in some places. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind. The lowest temperature will be between 22-25 degrees, with some mountainous areas dropping below 22 degrees. The highest temperature will range from 27-30 degrees.

Thanh Hoa – Thua Thien Hue

Expect cloudy weather with scattered showers and thunderstorms, including heavy rain in some areas. The North (Thanh Hoa-Nghe An) will experience moderate to heavy rain, with thunderstorms in some places. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind.

The lowest temperature will be between 22-25 degrees. The highest temperature will be 28-31 degrees in the north and 31-34 degrees in the south.

Da Nang to Binh Thuan

Expect cloudy weather in the North, with scattered showers and thunderstorms at night and tomorrow, and sunny weather in the South. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind.

The lowest temperature will be between 24-27 degrees. The highest temperature will be 31-34 degrees, with some places being above 34 degrees.

Central Highlands

Expect cloudy weather tonight and tomorrow evening with showers and scattered thunderstorms, followed by sunny weather. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind. The lowest temperature will range from 19-22 degrees. The highest temperature will range from 27-30 degrees.

Southern

Expect cloudy weather tonight and tomorrow evening with showers and scattered thunderstorms, followed by a sunny day. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind. The lowest temperature will be between 24-27 degrees. The highest temperature will be 30-33 degrees.

Ho Chi Minh City

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on August 19, the Ho Chi Minh City area experienced cloudy weather with sunshine, rain in the evening and night, and moderate to heavy rain with thunderstorms in some places.

The temperature ranged from 31-34 degrees, a slight decrease of 1 degree compared to the previous day.
