Ten Exceptional Young Families Celebrated for Resilience, Love, and Community Impact

THE HANOI TIMES Ten outstanding young families of 2025 have been honored for their resilience in building joyful, progressive homes and their significant contributions to the community.

This recognition was part of the “Happy Young Families Day” celebration, held on October 12 under the theme “Together, We Are Home – Writing the Journey of Love.” Now in its sixth year, the event commemorated the 20th anniversary of Vietnam Family Day, highlighting the vital role young families play in society.

The 10 honored families were selected from 44 nominations nationwide, following a rigorous evaluation process conducted from May to early October 2025.

These families represent diverse professions, including workers, civil servants, military personnel, TV personalities, athletes, entrepreneurs, and farmers. They actively participate in social initiatives, foster harmonious homes, excel in their careers, and raise children with care, setting exemplary standards in their daily lives.

Among the honorees, television hosts Le Manh Cuong and Do Huong Giang seamlessly balance their demanding media careers with their passion project, “Gia dinh Truyen hinh” (TV Family). This digital platform promotes love and family values, while the couple also collaborates on popular TV shows such as *Cap La Yeu Thuong*, *Viec Tu Te*, and *Viet Nam Vui Khoe*.

In the remote mountains of Lao Cai, Lam A Ha and Vang Thi Thong embody the spirit of perseverance and teamwork, proving that true happiness stems from unity and resilience.

Dr. Do Doan Bach, a cardiologist at Bach Mai Hospital, and his wife, fashion designer Mai Thanh Huyen, shared that their family provides the emotional strength needed to pursue medical research and community service. “My wife and children are my greatest motivation,” Dr. Bach remarked.

Addressing the event, Nguyen Kim Quy, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Federation, praised the honored families as role models in fostering harmony and upholding social values. He emphasized that the federation will continue supporting youth and young families through pre-marriage education, parenting workshops, and career development programs.

“Happy Young Families Day” featured engaging activities in Hanoi’s Hoan Kiem pedestrian zone, including family games themed “Journey of Love,” mini quizzes to enhance mutual understanding, photo booths, and activity stalls catering to all ages.

The “Happy Young Families” initiative is part of Youth Fest 2025 – Proud Vietnamese Youth, held from October 10 to October 12 to celebrate the 69th anniversary of the Vietnam Youth Federation and the 20th anniversary of Vietnam Family Day.

This campaign is a collaborative effort between the Vietnam Youth Federation and Phu Nhuan Jewellery JSC (PNJ) under the “Building Happy Young Families” program (2021–2025). It aims to underscore the family’s indispensable role in individual happiness and societal well-being.

The 10 Exemplary Young Families of 2025 include:

• Footballer Que Ngoc Hai and Duong Thi Thuy Phuong (Nghe An Province)

• Dr. Do Doan Bach, cardiologist at Bach Mai Hospital, and fashion designer Mai Thanh Huyen (Hanoi)

• Para-athlete Doan Ngoc Bao and Nguyen Thi Le Thu (Hanoi)

• Lam A Ha and Vang Thi Thong (Lao Cai Province)

• Nguyen Hai Dang and Ha Kieu Anh (Hanoi)

• Nguyen Thanh Hai and Ngo Thi Huynh Nhu (Long An Province)

• Hoang Dong Dong and Nguyen Lan Huong, officers at Z129 Factory under the General Department of Defense Industry (Tuyen Quang Province)

• Nguyen Ngoc Bao and Tran Thi Kim Linh (Lam Dong Province)

• Thach Ra Da, student at the People’s Police Academy, and Thach Thi Diem Kieu (Vinh Long Province)
