As the weather turns warmer with spring drizzle is falling throughout Hanoi streets, it’s the best time for admiring the white wild pear trees in full bloom.
Replacing the vivid pink Peach blossom and fresh orange Kumquat in the days after Tet, white wild pear flowers has occupied the Quang Ba flower market and surrounding streets.      

Many Hanoians select a branch of wild pear flowers to decorate their houses as the peach blossom or Kumquat trees are fading away after a quite long time of Tet.

According to sellers, wild pear flower trees are brought from the mountainous provinces of Lao Cai, Lang Son and Cao Bang. 
The price for a branch of the wild flower is quite high compared to other decoration plants for Tet, at around VND300,000 to VND5,000,000 ($15 to $120).

After peaches, white pear flowers are dotting Hanoi Streets. The flowers bloom for about a month, but with professional care, the blooming time can be as long as two to three months.
