Ba Be Lake (Bac Kan)
Ba Be Lake is the largest natural freshwater lake in Vietnam and one of the 100 largest lakes in the world, formed over 200 million years ago. The name “Ba Be” derives from the fact that the lake itself is composed of three small ones joined together: Pe Lam, Pe Lu, and Pe Leng.
