Polish Vietnamese Community Collect Donations for Victims of Mini Apartment Fire

Polish-Vietnamese people have made a generous donation of VND 153 million (USD 6.200) to offer assistance to the victims of a devastating fire in Hanoi.

The Vietnamese Community in Poland, through their representative, donated VND 153 million (USD 6,200) to support the victims of a recent mini apartment fire in Hanoi’s Thanh Xuan district. Tran Anh Tuan, chairman of the Vietnamese Association in Poland, called on the community to contribute towards aiding the victims of the tragic fire that took the lives of 56 people and injured 37.

The representative of the Vietnamese Community in Poland presented VND 153 million (USD 6,200) to support the victims of the recent mini apartment fire in Hanoi’s Thanh Xuan district.

The Vietnamese Association in Poland, with the assistance of the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs, aims to transfer the donated funds to the Fatherland Front of Thanh Xuan district.

Tran Anh Tuan expressed that the donated money represents the heartfelt condolences of Vietnamese people in Poland as they share the pain and loss of the fire victims’ families, with hopes for their lives to be restored soon.

Nguyen Minh Tien, permanent deputy secretary of Thanh Xuan District Party Committee, expressed gratitude on behalf of the Government, Thanh Xuan District Fatherland Front, and the fire victims for the support and empathy shown by the Vietnamese community in Poland. He assured that the donated sum will be promptly delivered to the victims through the district Fatherland Front. Tien also mentioned that the Fatherland Front of Thanh Xuan district has received support from individuals across the country and abroad. Under the guidance of Hanoi’s leaders, Thanh Xuan district has taken active measures to support and develop a plan to assist the affected families in stabilizing their lives in both the short and long term.
