Northern Vietnam to Experience Moderate to Heavy Rain on Oct. 2

According to the latest weather forecast, Vietnam's Northern region is expected to have cloudy and rainy conditions on October 2, particularly in the evening and at night.

The Northern region is experiencing scattered showers, thunderstorms, and moderate to heavy rain with rainfall ranging from 10-30mm, and in some areas over 50mm. Meanwhile, the Central Highlands and Southern regions are also experiencing showers, thunderstorms, and heavy rain locally with rainfall of 20-40mm, and in some places over 60mm. The rainfall is concentrated in the evening and night hours.

Thunderstorms in these areas may bring tornadoes, lightning, and strong winds. The weather forecast warns that the heavy rain may cause flooding in low-lying areas and increase the risk of flash floods and landslides in mountainous areas.

Da Nang To Binh Thuan: Lowest temperature: 23-26 degrees. Highest temperature: 31-34 degrees, some places above 34 degrees. Cloudy with showers and thunderstorms at night. Sunny during the day. Light winds in the north, west to southwest winds level 2-3. Possibility of tornadoes, lightning, and strong winds during thunderstorms.

The Central Highlands: Lowest temperature: 20-23 degrees. Highest temperature: 28-31 degrees. Cloudy with showers in the evening and night. Sunny during the day. Southwest wind level 2-3. Possibility of tornadoes, lightning, and strong winds during thunderstorms.

Ho Chi Minh City: According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, Ho Chi Minh City will experience cloudy weather with showers in the afternoon and evening, and some places may have thunderstorms and heavy rain. The temperature will range between 31-32 degrees. The relative humidity is 77-83%, and the cloud density is 84-87%.
