Thuan had an amazing trip to Tak Po. He said that travelers need certain experience in camping in mountainous terrain to strengthen the tents and shield from the wind and storms. In addition, when coming here, campers also need to get permission from the local authority.
A few years ago, local Xe Dang people in this area had many difficulties due to a limited approach to the outside world. Now that the commuting system has been improved significantly, it’s much easier to get around. From Tak Po, tourists can go to Kon Tum or Da Nang by bus or motorbike.

It is noted that visitors should not come here during the rainy season (from October to December) to avoid landslides.
Typical cuisine of the mountainous area such as lam rice (rice cooked in bamboo tubes), can wine (straw liquor), wild pork and chicken… are available in Tak Po. Coming here during the festive season, visitors can experience the energetic gong dance, a special and traditional trait of the area.

Currently, this destination has guided tours with full catering services and camping support, which are suitable for families. Tourists can also see the historical evidence of the Sup bridge, built by the French colonialists to transport goods and forest products. The bridge has collapsed, but the bullet holes are still visible.
To transport from Vung Bot to Khe Duong, visitors have to cross the stream which is about 3 kilometers long. Travelers should be aware that it is slippery and difficult to go if you are just a newbie to this kind of activity. There is also a natural lake about 5 meters deep, which is ideal for enjoying the scenery.

Before 2012, Van Buong was a remote village that was almost separate from other densely populated areas in Duy Xuyen and Dien Ban districts (Quang Nam). Thanks to the bridge connecting Van Buong and the mainland, this place has now become an attractive destination for people in the Quang Nam, Da Nang.
From Da Nang, travelers go 40 km to the south to reach Van Buong village, which is located beside the clear and calm Thu Bon river, wearing a long green lawn. It is not difficult to realize that this place still retains its pristine and idyllic nature.

Visitors coming here on the weekend can still find an ideal camping site because it is not as crowded as many other spots in Da Nang. At sunset, campers can set up grills, enjoy the barbecue and quality time with friends and family.
Mavis, a blogger, said that people here are very friendly. Visitors can borrow their boats to go on the river, sometimes they will give some vegetables for free. Water in this area is very shallow but full of fish. Campers can fish here and enjoy the food without spending too much effort.

Van Buong is associated with the story that in the past, the silk industry developed on both sides of the river, with most of the workers being women. Therefore, people thicken baths in the river to use in their daily life.
