Korean COPION Organization Presents School Projects to Dong Nai Province

On March 20-21, a handover ceremony of the LS Dream School Project No. 18 and No. 20, which are sponsored by the Korean COPION organization, to Tap Phuoc and Nguyen Tri Phuong Primary School of Dong Nai province. The total amount sponsored in these 2 projects is VND 3.5 billion.

Previously, the school site of Hamlet 5 in Long Phuoc commune of Tap Phuoc Primary School had only 3 old, degraded classrooms built in 1995. The poor infrastructure here was unable to meet the teaching needs.

When sponsored by Korean COPION organization, People’s Committee of Long Thanh District decided to invest to rebuild this entire school site with 5 new classrooms. It is said that the total budget for the project is more than VND 4.3 billion, of which VND 1.5 billion is sponsored by COPION and the rest comes from the local counterpart capital.

LS Dream School project No. 18 includes a block of 5 classrooms. After completion, classrooms are fully equipped with teaching and learning facilities. Teachers and students in this school site now have spacious facilities that meet the required standards, creating favorable and safe opportunities for students. It is believed that from now on, they will feel joy and excitement when going to school every day.

The project No. 20 builds a new block of 4 classrooms at Nguyen Tri Phuong Primary School in Tay Hoa commune, Trang Bom district, Dong Nai province. The total cost is VND 3 billion, in which the sponsorship capital of COPION and Korean LS group is VND 2 billion and the locality pay the rest VND 1 billion.

At the handover ceremony, COPION organization awarded 10 scholarships (VND 1 million for each) to disadvantaged students at each Primary School. In addition, the Union of Friendship Organizations of Dong Nai Province presented 10 gifts (VND 500,000 for each) to 20 disadvantaged students at Nguyen Tri Phuong Primary School.

On this occasion, the People’s Committee of Long Thanh District presented a Certificate of Merit to COPION organization.
