According to the Daily Mail, a British newspaper, a tour is scheduled for September and October next year. Travelers will fly from Seattle to Kyoto, then Hoi An, the Maldives, Serengeti, Marrakech, Budapest, Florence, and Paris.

The tour is operated by Titan Airways, using a custom-fitted Airbus A321LRneo. The airplane has only 48 handcrafted seats, each offering 6.5ft, or two meters, of personal space. The seats can also extend to lie fully flat and come with a plush ottoman, according to the article.

The Daily Mail shared that high-end trips known as air cruises, which take small groups around the world in private jets, have been growing in popularity following the pandemic. Several operators now offer these luxury trips.

Some businesses offer trips where guests can organize the itinerary in partnership with the firm. An example is the 15-day whisky tour by private jet offered by Pelorus. Prices for this tour start at £1.2 million for six people, which is £200,000 per person. The tour visits Japan, the United States, Scotland, and Ireland and allows guests to sample some of the world’s rarest types of whiskey.

Among the trips found by MailOnline was a 23-day tour run by Four Seasons. This tour visits Asia, Africa, and Europe and costs £155,000 per person based on double occupancy.

Daily Mail also recommended other options, including a 17-day tour of South America with TCS World Travel on an Airbus A321 for £90,000 per person. Another option is a 26-day tour operated by Abercrombie and Kent, which visits Fiji, Tasmania, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, and Mauritius. This tour also includes visits to Zambia and Brazil and costs £131,000 per person. Additionally, there is a 25-day round-the-world option on an Airbus A321, visiting South America, Oceania, Asia, and Africa for £98,000 per person.

Nicky Kelvin, editor at The Points Guy, told MailOnline, “Travelling in excess is a trend which is definitely on the rise, as those looking for a holiday now want to enjoy themselves to the max, and believe that after a difficult few years, they deserve to splash out.”
