THE HANOI TIMES — Step into a captivating miniature Hanoi, where golden leaf-lined streets and stalls brimming with exquisite traditional handicrafts await. The “Essence of Hanoi Autumn” space, a highlight of the Autumn Fair 2025 at the Vietnam Exposition Center in Dong Anh Commune, offers a perfect fusion of culture, color, and creativity.
This meticulously designed zone, adorned in hues of chrysanthemum gold and canary yellow, beautifully captures the essence of Hanoi’s seasonal charm.

Signature products from Hanoi’s outskirts, including handicrafts, One Commune One Product (OCOP) items, and key industrial and tourism goods, are drawing enthusiastic crowds.
“We take pride in offering products that embody Hanoi’s unique identity and autumnal spirit, particularly our organic pomelos and traditional cakes. It’s a joy to provide safe, premium agricultural products to both residents and international tourists,” shared Nguyen Nhu Hao, Director of the Que Duong Safe Pomelo Cooperative in Duong Hoa Commune, Hanoi, in an interview with The Hanoi Times.

According to the municipal Department of Industry and Trade, over 30 artisans and numerous Hanoi-based companies are showcasing hundreds of items, ranging from handicrafts to food and regional specialties.
Pham Tuan Duy, an artisan from Nhi Khe woodcraft village, joined the fair to enhance brand visibility and forge connections with fellow artisans both domestically and internationally.
“Our collection, featuring bracelets, prayer beads, combs, and chess boards, has been exported to Taiwan (China) and the United States,” Duy noted.

The seamless blend of traditional artistry and modern innovation paints a vivid picture of Hanoi—a city deeply rooted in tradition yet boldly embracing growth and progress.
Another major attraction, particularly for foreign visitors, is the live demonstration area where artisans share their techniques and the stories behind each masterpiece. Attendees can witness the intricate molding and glazing of Bat Trang pottery or the meticulous carving of wood sculptures, offering a dynamic glimpse into Hanoi’s living heritage.

Dubbed a “mega fair,” the inaugural Autumn Fair 2025 stands as one of the year’s most significant trade and cultural events, bringing together 34 cities and provinces alongside over 2,500 local and international firms.
Each zone exudes its own unique autumn ambiance, blending product displays with live music and cultural experiences that highlight the diverse facets of Vietnamese cultural identity.
