Hanoi is expected to experience predominantly dry and sunny weather from January 18 to 20, with cooler temperatures during the night and early morning hours. However, from the evening of January 20 through January 22, rainfall is anticipated as a strong northeast monsoon moves into the region, according to the agency.

Colder conditions are forecast from January 21 to 25, with nighttime and early-morning temperatures in Hanoi dropping to 10°C-12°C. Daytime temperatures are expected to peak between 15°C and 19°C.

In northern Vietnam, dry weather is predicted to persist until January 19, accompanied by light morning fog and sunny skies during the day. Cold temperatures will dominate the night and early morning periods.

Starting from late January 20, a powerful cold front is expected to bring rain and a significant temperature drop. From January 22 to 25, severe cold is likely to spread across the region, with the possibility of frost in high mountainous areas.

In the central region, spanning from Thanh Hoa to Quang Ngai, clear and sunny weather is forecast through January 20. From January 21 to 25, the weather is expected to stabilize, with minimal rainfall. However, northern parts of this region may experience deep cold.

The Central Highlands and southern Vietnam are anticipated to enjoy predominantly dry and sunny conditions throughout January 18-25. Light morning fog may be present, and cooler temperatures are expected during the night and early morning, particularly in elevated areas.
