Explore the Dien Bien Phu Triumph Through 70 Artworks Spanning Decades

From May 3-9, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory, the Department of Fine Arts, Photography, and Exhibitions (under the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism) proudly presents an exhibition showcasing a collection of 70 exquisite artworks by renowned Vietnamese painters and sculptors, capturing the spirit and essence of Dien Bien Phu and Vietnam's wartime experience.

The exhibition takes place at the Center for Examination and Exhibition of Fine Arts and Photography on No. 29 Hang Bai, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi.

It introduces 70 works of paintings and statues by artists and sculptors on the theme of Dien Bien Phu Victory, Vietnam’s history, and the innovative achievements of the Vietnamese people.

The works in the exhibition are of high artistic quality, and content and profound meaning are gathered from many sources, including the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibition, Vietnam Military History Museum, and Vietnam Fine Arts Association.

The exhibition is also an opportunity for the art-loving public to look back at the nation’s heroic history, encouraging writers and artists to create more works on historical and revolutionary war topics to educate the younger generation.
