According to a survey, an impressive 43% of respondents chose the coastal city of Da Nang in Vietnam as their go-to destination for a summer vacation. With its beautiful beaches, vibrant culture, and exciting activities, it’s no wonder why so many people flock to this popular destination. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing retreat or an action-packed getaway, Da Nang has something for everyone. So, why not plan your next summer vacation in the stunning city of Da Nang?

The northern mountainous resort of Sapa ranked second with 33% of the respondents selecting the destination, followed by Nha Trang with 30%, Da Lat with 29%, and Phu Quoc with 22%.

Most notably, Ho Chi Minh City was at the bottom of the list, as it was chosen by only 9% of the respondents.

The survey indicates that nearly two-thirds of the respondents said they plan to go on vacation for between four and four days this summer, while up to 59% intend to make between two and three domestic trips during the course of the year.

Just 12% of the respondents revealed that they will only travel in the country once for the entire year.

The survey also reveals that Vietnamese travelers prioritize factors such as costs, weather conditions at tourist destinations, and sightseeing tours when planning a trip. This demonstrates that cost-effectiveness, favorable weather, and convenient tours are essential for a successful vacation.

Furthermore, delicious food is also an important criterion, with 57% of the respondents choosing to take a food tour during their trip. This figure makes up the largest proportion of the surveyed travel experiences.

Milieu Insight recently conducted a survey of travelers aged 20 to 65 in the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, and Malaysia to gain insight into their summer travel plans. Results showed that a majority of people were planning to travel within their own countries, while only a small percentage planned to travel internationally. Additionally, respondents reported that they were most likely to choose transportation and accommodation options that had been recommended by family and friends. The survey also highlighted the importance of cost when selecting travel providers, with most respondents indicating that they would be more likely to book a service if it was offered at a lower price. Ultimately, the data collected from the survey provides valuable insight into the preferences and plans of travelers in the region.

A prominent indicator shows that 52% of Vietnamese tourists are eager to take advantage of air transport for domestic travel, coming in first among the countries with surveyed respondents.
