The Hanoi Creative Design Festival 2023 themed “Flow” is set to take place from November 17 to 26. The event will breathe life into the heritage sites of the Hang Dau Water Tower, Long Bien Bridge, and the industrial facilities of Gia Lam Railway Station, all located in the capital.

The experience route of the Hanoi Creative Design Festival 2023 will emphasize the connection between the two sides of the river and the historic Long Bien Bridge. It will also highlight the unique culture and history of the districts along the riverbanks, promoting sustainable development.

This year’s festival will feature a series of seminars, exhibitions, contests, performances, and more. These activities aim to foster creativity, celebrate innovative ideas, enhance knowledge, and explore the potential and future trends in creative design.

The official opening of the Hanoi Creative Design Festival 2023 will take place on November 17, 2023, at the Gia Lam Train Factory. The factory has been transformed into an exciting cultural and creative complex, catering to the youth of Hanoi.

The organizers hope that the festival will showcase the vitality, creative power, and identity of Hanoi. It also aims to encourage the formation of creative communities and foster multidisciplinary collaborations between cultural industries such as architecture, visual arts, performance arts, and design. Moreover, the festival seeks to develop creative platforms to promote cultural resources, including Hanoi’s traditional culture.

Hosted by the Hanoi People’s Committee and the Vietnam Association of Architects, and organized by the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports and Architecture Magazine, in collaboration with the UNESCO Representative Office in Hanoi and UN-Habitat, the festival aligns with UNESCO’s initiatives and commitments. These efforts are in line with Hanoi’s membership in the Creative Cities Network.

Join us at the Hanoi Creative Design Festival 2023 and experience a creative extravaganza that celebrates the essence of Hanoi’s culture and fosters innovation.
