In the spirit of joyfulness, the Sheraton Saigon Hotel & Towers organized a Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on Friday, November 30, turning its lobby into a “Winter Wonderland” with glittering lights, seasonal decorations of red and gold themed colors, a life-sized Christmas train and carriage with gingerbread house, and especially a magnificent Christmas tree.
This annual event was to give thanks to the hotel guests, business partners and media friends who have supported the hotel over the year.
The hotel also welcomed 90 kids from SOS Children’s Village Go Vap to enjoy the Christmas festivities together with the hotel management and associates. There was a range of excited activities, fun games and a fabulous dinner buffet with mouth-watering dishes specially prepared and served to the kids by associates from the Sheraton Saigon Hotel & Towers, the Renaissance Riverside Hotel Saigon and Le Méridien Saigon.
The hotels are calling for donations of gifts to the charity program called “Wish upon A Star” with which they invite the children from SOS Children’s Village Go Vap writing their gift wishes on stars that will be spread across the three properties and placed upon the Hotel Christmas Trees. Starting from now until December 21, 2018, the meaningful gifts donated by hotel guests and associates will be collected at each hotel and delivered to the orphanage on December 21, 2018.
Le Méridien Saigon
The Le Méridien Saigon kicked off the festive season themed “Celebrate Chic” with its dazzling Christmas tree lighting ceremony on December 1. The ceremony took place at the hotel lobby with the witness of in-house guests, media friends, corporate partners and other luminaries.
“As other Le Méridien hotels across the globe, we want to provide guests with the element of discovery, deliver better value and more personalized experiences to guests. […] We hope this special time of the year will bring abundant joy, happiness and peace to you and your loved ones,” said Robert Conte, the hotel’s manager.
At the event, all the guests were treated with delectable Festive delights and drinks while immersing themselves in a miraculous Christmas medley. The Le Méridien Saigon also provided exciting lucky draw prizes to fire up the celebratory experience of the ceremony.
In keeping the spirit of Christmas which everyone would share the message of love and giving not only with friends and families, but also with those in need in the community, the hotel had partnered with the Operation Smile to help children with facial deformities and bring the smiles to them this festive season. Guests were encouraged to donate a minimum amount of VND20,000 and get a box of crayons as a gift in return. The total amount of donation was given to Operation Smile after the Christmas tree lighting ceremony.
This year, violet, silver and gold were chosen as theme colors for Christmas at the hotel. These colors were adorned in the hotel lobby alongside with a giant ginger bread house, where people could visit and purchase from a list of festive goodies, delightful chocolates and premium hampers available until December 25.
The Le Méridien Saigon offered a wide range of festivities and a sense of gathering with traditional food and drinks, joyful music and a whole lot of cheers at Latest Recipe and Bamboo Chic on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
Pullman Saigon Centre
The Pullman Saigon Centre will host a New Year’s Eve countdown party complete with free flow of drinks, DJs and dancing at the Rooftop Bar on the 31st floor or at the exclusive Maddie’s Terrace on the 30th floor on December 31, from 9 p.m. until 1 a.m.
The countdown party costs VND1,300,000 net per adult at Maddie’s Terrace and VND1,500,000 net per adult at Rooftop Bar.
Food ConneXion on the third level of the hotel is a perfect destination for Christmas with festive brunch or dinner, kid’s entertainment and live music.
On December 22 and 23, guests can enjoy an early weekend dinner buffet with their beloved ones, decorate their ginger bread cookies while kids play at their own playground.

A combo of Big Santa Burger with one side of French fries and one Tiger beer draught or one local beer bottle costs VND420,000 net.
The lounge is also offering the Holly Jolly Christmas milkshake made with Oreos and vanilla cream and topped with whipped cream, M&Ms and sprinkles at VND140,000 net per glass.

Sofitel Saigon Plaza

Guests looking for an ideal treat during the festive season can enjoy festive afternoon tea served in the charming ambience of Boudoir Lounge on the lobby level while listening to the joyous Christmas melodies with their beloved friends and family.

Visiting S Pool Bar & Dining located on the Rooftop with stunning city views on December 31, partygoers will enjoy a perfect combination of an exhilarating live entertainment, a full drinks bar and a midnight toast to remember.
