Hanoi Launches Summer Program for International Youth
On July 20th, 120 Vietnamese expatriates, ranging in age from 26 different countries and territories, convened in Hanoi for the commencement of an annual summer camp.
Upon addressing the opening ceremony of summer camp in Hanoi on July 20, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Thi Thu Hang expressed hope that the event would offer overseas Vietnamese the opportunity to interact with local young people in Vietnam. In addition, it would help participants to improve their knowledge of the Vietnamese language and to better understand Vietnamese history and culture.
The Map of Vietnam, an exceptional work of art made from more than 115,000 bamboo toothpicks, has been officially recognized by the World Records Union (WorldKings) and awarded a World Record certificate.
