The Central Propaganda and Education Committee organized these events in partnership with other departments in order to create efficient new content and approaches to disseminating information about regional seas and islands.

As a result, all citizens, particularly the youth, can gain a better understanding and awareness of Vietnam’s seas and islands, as well as the position and role of such seas and islands in the cause of national construction and defense.

The hope is that this initiative will inspire patriotism, national pride, and a sense of protecting the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

All Vietnamese citizens in Vietnam and overseas, as well as foreigners working, residing, and studying in the Southeast Asian country, can enter the contest by visiting https://toquocbenbosong.vn.

The weekly and semi-final rounds of the contest to learn about Vietnam’s seas and islands in 2022 will be conducted in the form of an online quiz with eye-catching visuals and vibrant audio.

Contestants can respond to multiple-choice questions in order to access detailed maps of sea and island locations in Vietnam.

After two weekly rounds and semi-finals, the 15 top candidates will be selected and divided into three teams to compete in the final round of the national competition in the form of a direct confrontation onstage.

The contest will be held from July to October this year.

In addition, the virtual reality exhibition displays 121 artworks chosen from approximately 6,000 illuminations submitted to a national-level art picture contest in 2021 with the theme of sea and homeland islands.

To view this exhibition, viewers need only check the site https://toquocbenbosong.vn on a desktop computer, laptop, or tablet, or download the ‘To quoc ben bo song’ application on iOS and Android devices.
