According to the website, Chau was ranked above several other outstanding contestants from Venezuela, Colombia, the United States, and Spain.
Missosology, the world’s leading publication on beauty pageants, also named the Vietnamese representative among the top 10 of the contest.
She was also listed in sixth place by beauty website Sash Factor of the Philippines.
Meanwhile, Crowntalk also expressed its great appreciation for the Vietnamese beauty, predicting that she would finish in the Top 5.
Ngoc Chau, 28, was crowned as Miss Universe Vietnam 2022, and she also won the Best Body and Environment Ambassador sub-titles at the international beauty contest.
The local beauty stands at 1.74 metres tall with measurements of 84-58-94. She won Vietnam’s Next Top Model 2016 and Miss Supranational Vietnam 2018, finished among the Top 10 of Miss Supranational 2019, and clinched the Miss Asian Supranational 2019 title.
The grand finale of Miss Universe 2022 is scheduled to take place in the US on January 14, 2023.
