This event is a celebration of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the UK, serving as a platform to showcase the rich traditional values, culture, and fashion of Vietnam in the UK.

Thao, the designer, has dedicated extensive research to the study of traditional costumes and has skillfully incorporated unique patterns into each of her works. Her collection takes the audience on a captivating journey through time and space, incorporating brocade patterns from the 16th to the 19th century, alongside the use of natural materials such as lotus yarn, silk, and linen.

Thao expressed her desire for the event to encourage both Vietnamese and foreigners to embrace and appreciate “Made in Vietnam” fashion products.

Thao’s exceptional talent and creativity have been recognized with numerous domestic and international awards, including the prestigious Mercedes-Benz Asia Fashion Award in 2004. She was also honored with the International Young Fashion Entrepreneur Award 2008 by the British Council.
