The Vietnamese pavilion captivated both locals and international visitors with its array of traditional delicacies, including crispy spring rolls and shrimp crackers. A live cooking demonstration of spring roll preparation and frying added a dynamic touch, fostering cultural engagement and an immersive experience for attendees.
Following their visit to the Vietnamese pavilion, the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Piraeus expressed profound appreciation for the Embassy’s participation. They highlighted the pavilion’s role in enhancing the festival’s cultural diversity and strengthening the bond between Vietnam and Greece.
Addressing the gathering, Vietnamese Ambassador to Greece Pham Thi Thu Huong extended gratitude to the Piraeus authorities for their support. She emphasized the festival as a platform not only for culinary promotion but also for fostering cultural, tourism, and trade connections between the two nations.
The Piraeus Taste Festival 2025, organized by the Municipality of Piraeus from September 25–28, marked its fourth edition with participation from seven countries: Greece, Moldova, Panama, Romania, China, Indonesia, and Vietnam.
Throughout the four-day event, celebrated chefs, global cuisines, local traditions, live music, cinema, and cultural activities showcased Piraeus’s authentic culinary identity, positioning the city as a hub of maritime flavors and creativity.
