Lan Anh performed exceptionally well while wearing a costume designed by Nguyen Tien Truyen, which drew inspiration from national heroine Trung Trac.
The organisers announced the Top 12 Best National Costumes for each continental group. The Asia and Oceania group included Miss Earth Vietnam, Miss Earth Philippines, and Miss Earth Myanmar.
The Africa group consisted of beauty queens from Madagascar, Zimbabwe, and Namibia, while the Americas group included contestants from Paraguay, Bolivia, and Venezuela.
Miss Earth Bulgaria, Miss Earth Albania, and Miss Earth Germany received the highest scores in the Europe group.
The winner of this sub-contest will be announced during the grand final of the Miss Earth 2023 pageant, scheduled to take place on December 22 in Ho Chi Minh City.
Previously, Vietnamese beauty Do Thi Lan Anh won the Best Appearance award on the opening day of the Miss Earth pageant.
These impressive victories will give the Vietnamese representative a great advantage in the race for the Top 20.
Do Thi Lan Anh, 26, currently resides in the United States and stands at 1.71 meters tall with body measurements of 85-60-95cm. She left her hometown at the age of one and lived in Europe before moving to the US with her family.
This is Vietnam’s second time hosting this prestigious global pageant, following the 2010 edition.
In previous events, Nguyen Phuong Khanh defeated 86 other contestants to win Miss Earth 2018, becoming the first beauty from Vietnam to win one of the Big Four international pageant crowns.
