The biggest event of its kind will be co-organized by the Korean Embassy in Vietnam and the Korean Cultural Centre in Vietnam, the Korea Tourism Organization, the Korea Creative Content Agency, the Korea Copyright Commission, and the King Sejong Institute Foundation.
Attendees of the festival will have the opportunity to participate in various interesting Korean cultural programs and activities, such as traditional Korean games and a K-POP dance battle. They can also try on traditional Korean Hanbok costumes and taste delicious Korean street food.
Moreover, well-known Korean and local artists, including Sunggyu, Cho Joo Han, Sinu Ha Linh, Orange, and Roy Nguyen, will perform at the festival.
The festival will feature a variety of booths showcasing Korean movies, tourism, and entertainment products.
A series of activities promoting Busan’s bid to host World Expo 2030 will also be introduced as part of the festival.
Vietnam – RoK Cultural Exchange in Hanoi for Diplomatic Tie Celebration
The Republic of Korea (RoK)’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) announced on September 8 that the Vietnam-RoK lantern festival to be held in Hanoi from September 9 to 11 will kick-start a wide range of activities to mark 30 years of bilateral diplomatic relations between the RoK and Vietnam.
