On November 18, Ho Guom Opera House announced that La Philharmonica, an all-female ensemble, will kick off the concert series on November 27.

The evening’s performance will showcase newly commissioned works by Tristan Schulze and Georg Breinschmid, alongside timeless masterpieces from opera, film scores, and the lively rhythms of Viennese dance. Featured composers include Pauline Viardot, John Williams, Johann Strauss II, and Constanze Geiger.

The following night, November 28, is Chamber Night, headlined by the Vienna Chamber Orchestra. This esteemed ensemble will perform classical pieces that embody the essence of Vienna’s musical heritage.

Audiences will be treated to iconic waltzes and polkas synonymous with Viennese dance music, such as *Fledermaus Ouvertüre*, *Mit Extrapost*, *Wiener Blut*, *Pizzicato Polka*, *Geschichten aus dem Wienerwald*, and *Unter Donner und Blitz Polka*. These works are masterfully composed by Johann Strauss II, Eduard Strauss, and Josef Strauss.

The series culminates in *Spirit of Vienna*, a celebration of immortal masterpieces by Mozart, Haydn, and Beethoven. Highlights include *Violin Concerto No. 4*, *Clarinet Concerto*, *Sinfonia Concertante*, and *Symphony No. 7 “Apotheosis of Dance”*.
