The video contest was held on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of Vietnam-Thailand diplomatic relations.

According to the organising board, the contest is open to Vietnamese and Thai citizens between the ages of 18-30.

The contestants will work in pairs, including one person of Thai nationality and one person of Vietnamese nationality. Candidates who want to participate in the contest but have not found a companion can register at https://fb.me/e/K4lnwCKq.

Each pair must make a video of 2-5 minutes with the topic of cultural exchanges between Thailand and Vietnam, such as cooking and singing. The languages in the video clip could be Thai, Vietnamese or English. During the video recording process, contestants must ensure compliance with the regulations on the prevention of COVID-19 in both Thailand and Vietnam.

After completing the above-mentioned video clip, candidates upload their videos (MP4, AVI, MOV, WMV) to cloud storage, such as Google Drive, Dropbox, One Drive; then submit the video clip together with the Name, Age, E-mail and Telephone number of the two participants to the Thai The Facebook page at the link https://www.facebook.com/ThaiThebyRTEHanoi, by 12 September 2021.

High quality videos will be uploaded by the Thai Embassy on their YouTube Channel: Royal Thai Embassy in Hanoi. The scoring criteria is based on creativity, image quality and the number of likes the entries receive on the Embassy’s YouTube channel.

The prize structure includes: One first prize worth VND20 million in cash (each contestant receives VND10 million); a second prize worth VND10 million in cash (each contestant receives VND5 million); a third prize worth VND5 million in cash (each contestant receives VND2.5 million). Winners living in Thailand will receive the same amount after conversion into Baht.
