Running until September 30, this captivating event is a collaborative effort between the Van Mieu–Quoc Tu Giam Culture and Science Centre and the innovative creative enterprise, TiredCity.

During the opening ceremony, Nguyen Thi Mai, Head of the Centre’s Research and Collection Division, expressed that the exhibition aims to provide visitors with an authentic and heartfelt glimpse into Vietnam and its warm-hearted people.

She further emphasized that the Temple of Literature transcends its role as a symbol of academic tradition and respect for educators. It has evolved into a dynamic creative hub, supporting young artists in their mission to disseminate cultural and artistic values throughout the community.

Representing the participating artists, painter Hong Hoa, creator of “Mother’s Embroidery Frame” inspired by her mother’s tailoring, shared her joy at having her artwork selected for display. She revealed that each piece in the exhibition narrates a unique tale, intertwined with love for Vietnam, pride in its independence and peace, and a celebration of its distinct national identity.

“My art is a vehicle to ignite patriotism in the hearts of many, reaching far and wide,” Hoa passionately stated.

The exhibition showcases 40 captivating works by 39 talented artists from across Vietnam. Each piece tells a story, capturing nostalgic childhood memories, everyday life scenes, and the beauty of labor, while also showcasing the rich cultural tapestry and diverse traditions of the country’s various regions.

Through their artistic expressions, the artists convey a profound love for their homeland, aiming to inspire a deeper appreciation for Vietnam among the public, particularly the youth.

The organizers highlighted that the event offers more than just an artistic experience. It serves as a platform to share historical narratives and cultural values, fostering community connections and exchanges. Additionally, it provides an opportunity for contemporary art to connect with a broader audience, instilling a sense of national pride in everyday life.
