The upcoming event aims to showcase and celebrate the culinary profession, coinciding with World Chef’s Day on October 20. Additionally, the event seeks to set a national record for the culinary map of the country.

With over 100 booths showcasing regional dishes, food demonstrations, and a music program, attendees will have the opportunity to experience a diverse range of local cuisine. Renowned chefs from five-star hotels and skilled artisans from Ho Chi Minh City and various localities across Vietnam will be offering their specialties.

During a press conference held on August 29 to announce the event, Nguyen Thi Khanh, president of the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Association, highlighted the growing popularity of Vietnamese cuisine among international audiences. According to her, Vietnamese dishes have gained recognition through their participation in international culinary competitions, thereby elevating the image of Vietnamese cuisine on the global culinary stage.

The festival is expected to attract approximately 50,000 visitors and serve as a platform to promote the culinary and tourism industries of both Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam to a wider audience.
