The Miss Grand International (MGI) Facebook page recently announced that Vietnam will be hosting the prestigious pageant in 2027. The post, published on June 2, teased a glamorous and cultural event, showcasing the beauty and talent of contestants from around the world.

Accompanying the announcement was a video highlighting the stunning scenery of Vietnam’s three regions, captivating international beauty enthusiasts and leaving them eager for the upcoming event.

Vietnamese fans expressed their excitement and pride in the comments, welcoming the opportunity to host the global pageant and showcase their country’s beauty and culture.

Vietnam has consistently been a prominent host for MGI, securing the second-highest number of hosting years, just after Thailand. The pageant was previously held in Vietnam in 2017 and 2023, leaving a lasting impression on the organization and participants.

The press conference also marked the launch of the Miss Grand Vietnam 2024 pageant, introducing new awards: Grand Voice Award for singing talent, Best Seller to develop business acumen, and National Costume to celebrate Vietnamese culture. Ha Kieu Anh, Miss Vietnam 1992, and People’s Artist Vuong Duy Bien will reprise their roles as head and deputy head judges, respectively.

Miss Grand International, established in 2013, is a leading global beauty contest with a unique focus on humanitarian issues and peace advocacy. In 2021, Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien made history as the first Vietnamese contestant to be crowned Miss Grand International, and Architect Le Hoang Phuong recently claimed the fourth runner-up title at MGI 2023, hosted in Vietnam.

Mark your calendars for MGI 2027 in Vietnam, as it promises to be an extraordinary celebration of beauty, talent, and culture on a global stage.
