The festival is scheduled to take place as part of a series of events commemorating the 20th anniversary of Hau Giang province’s establishment.

This three-day festival will feature various activities, including an exhibition showcasing the evolution of Áo bà ba, cultural performances, traditional games, and a culinary showcase of southern Vietnamese cuisine.

Highlighting the festival will be a fashion show on September 29, showcasing traditional attire from the southern region to both locals and tourists.

The festival will also include an exhibition of eight collections by 10 fashion designers, featuring a total of 500 outfits. On September 30, there will be an award ceremony for a painting contest that depicts the history of Hau Giang province.

The following day, nearly 150 local individuals will model the unique Áo bà ba outfits in a special fashion show.

Addititonally, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in traditional games and engage in various cultural activities.

Visitors can also explore the distinctive local cuisine of Hau Giang through a gastronomic corner showcasing popular dishes.
