During a Hanoi press conference on September 19, Le Quoc Minh, a member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the PCC’s Commission for Communication and Mass Mobilisation, and Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists’ Association, emphasized that inviting Secret Garden aligns with the mission of bringing world-class art to Vietnamese audiences, enhancing the country’s cultural image, and supporting charitable causes.
He noted that the concert will not only allow the public to enjoy timeless melodies but also promote cultural and humanitarian values.
As part of the Good Morning Vietnam initiative, two previous concerts—Kenny G Live in Vietnam (2023) and Bond Live in Vietnam (2024)—were successfully organized, with all proceeds donated to disaster relief efforts.
Secret Garden, the acclaimed Irish-Norwegian duo led by composer Rolf Løvland and violinist Fionnuala Sherry, is celebrated for their unique fusion of classical, folk, and pop music. The group won a Grammy Award for Best New Age Album in 1996 and has received multiple nominations, including two World Music Awards in 1998 and 1999.
The upcoming Secret Garden Live in Vietnam concert continues the project’s “music for the community” series, offering audiences a chance to experience the iconic melodies that have captivated millions worldwide over the past three decades.
