Saigon Port and Hiep Phuoc Port, as well as other tourist spots around the city, will be the venues of the festival, according to Ho Chi Minh City’s Department of Tourism.

The festival’s highlight will be a real-scene art performance on the Saigon River, combining traditional stage materials with modern sound and light effects to create a unique and immersive experience for viewers.

This event is part of a series of tourism promotion events happening both domestically and internationally this year. It will feature 22 different activities, including local cuisine and specialty stalls, river boat tours, art performances, boat races, and folk games.

In addition, there will be visually exciting watersport performances such as flyboarding, water canoes, and boat sailing.

Last year, the inaugural edition of the river festival took place in Ho Chi Minh City from August 4 to August 6. It was held at various tourist sites throughout the city, including Bach Dang Wharf, Nhieu Loc-Thi Nghe Canal, Saigon River, and Saigon Port, and attracted over 51,000 visitors.
