According to Associate Professor Vu Ngoc Khanh, who compiled the book, stories were chosen from various sources to provide readers with a better understanding of the evolution of legends in Vietnamese literature history.
Publication of a Compilation of Vietnamese Legends and Fairy Tales
The Su That (Truth) National Political Publishing House has recently released a new book titled "Truyen truyen ky Viet Nam" (Vietnamese Legends). This collection of stories comprises of 50 mythical and fairy tales which all include traditional elements.
