Emphasizing the significance of culture, the Prime Minister quoted the late President Ho Chi Minh, who proclaimed, “Culture illuminates the path for the nation.”
He noted that 82 years ago, the Communist Party of Vietnam, through the Outline of Vietnamese Culture, defined culture as embodying scientific, national, and popular characteristics. Over time, this definition evolved to include the imperative for culture to be modern and civilized.
Party congress documents have consistently highlighted culture as a wellspring of inner strength and the spiritual bedrock of the people and the nation. He also recalled the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong’s assertion, “As long as culture endures, so will our nation.”

Simultaneously, the program aims to create an environment where artists can fully devote themselves to their craft, for the enjoyment of the public and the betterment of the nation and its people.
He commended VTV for its unwavering dedication and creativity in organizing impactful cultural programs that serve the public. He also congratulated VTV on its 55th anniversary and praised the recent launch of the national foreign affairs television channel, stating that the new channel will play a pivotal role in promoting Vietnamese culture, values, and identity on the global stage.
